This unique holster will easily hide a compact gun under a untucked t-shirt. It may just be the perfect holster for summertime wear. It even comes with a full size sweatguard so it can be worn right next to your sweaty body when the tempurature goes up.
It is also a great choice for cooler weather and a zipped up jacket Since it's by far the easiest and fastest setup for drawing the gun from under a zipped up jacket even in cold weather you can access a real gun, not a mouse gun in your pocket.. About the only place it isn’t ideal for concealed carry is with an open front concealment garmet ( that’s where the our standard inside the waistband hip holster works the best).
This holster also is a good choice if you spend time in a car. Carried in front of the hip on the dominant side it is much more out of the way of seatbelts compared to a standard hip holster. It can also be used as a Crossdraw holster - the ideal for a driver drawing a gun while behind the wheel. Since it is a clip on holster you can easily use it for driving and transfer the gun to your hip when you leave the car if you're so inclined.
It won’t, however, work for IDPA since anything in front of the hip is not allowed. The classic "only good holster is carried behind the hip" mentality. Learned it from my guru inside the box thinking. To bad, the third time I drew this inside-the-waistband holster livefire I did a 1.04 second first shot during a "Bill Drill". That's .2 seconds slower than from my full on competition race holster. During that pactice session the appendix holster consistantly beat my long time companion IWB ( the UCR) by .15 to .25 seconds to the first shot. I'm now old and slow so you might do even better.

Note;
The Glock holster and the 1911 are molded with an open bottom so larger gun can be carried. It’s not what the holster was designed for but it can be done completely safely and remarkably comfortably. The larger the gun the harder it will be to hide correctly however.
