TSC Holsters

Full Sweatguard IWB Option
Any sharp edges are eliminated as much as possible with this holster for more comfort. Extra time is taken with every single holster to polish the edges and minimize any bumps that may irritate you. This is one of the many reasons why this holster is SO comfortable. The only real bump on most holsters is the indentation at the triggerguard for gun retention, and the mold around 1911 safeties to make sure the safety is on when the gun is holstered.
Retention Levels Options

All holsters can be ordered with either low, medium, or high levels of gun retention. Unless you specify the holster will be set for a medium level of retention. The pancake holster should have a higher level of retention since your body will not be as much involved in keeping the gun secure. Therefore, the pancake holster automatically comes with slightly higher levels of retention.

The following are how our holsters retention levels are set up;

LOW ; Retention will allow the gun to slide out of the holster with just slight shaking when held upside down.

MEDIUM ; Retention will hold the gun in place with light to moderate shaking when held upside-down. There will also be a noticeable “click” when the gun is fully (properly) seated in the holster.

HIGH ; Retention will require a definitive tug to release the gun, and when shaken moderately to vigorously upside down, the gun will not be released. This is the level of retention most Kydex holsters exhibit from the factory but it is still less than some plastic holsters and new leather holsters.

Sweat Guard Options

All holsters can be ordered with either a full coverage sweatguard or a minimal coverage option. Unless specified the holster will come with a full coverage sweatguard.

FULL SWEATGUARD ; Covers the entire slide to the rear of the gun and ~1/4” of the frame, to prevent moisture from entering the gun between the slide / frame junction. This will greatly increase ammunition life, particularly with inside the waistband holsters.

MINIMAL SWEARGUARD ; Is cut so if you draw with your thumb high, the sweatguard will not get in the way. This allows the initial movement out of the holster on the draw to be started by jamming your thumb between the body and the gun, and using a thumb pinch to initiate the upward movement. This technique greatly minimizes the risk of fouling the draw by grabbing clothing, because the fingers don’t wrap around the grip until the gun is +1 inch up from it's resting position inside the holster.
